Several countries, each in its own language.
Arlo searches area by area for companies that fit, writes each email in a language of the recipient’s country and schedules it in the recipient’s local time. How far Arlo may go in which country is up to you.
What Arlo takes into account in each country
- Search by area
- Arlo proposes a search plan: areas made of country, region and target group. Once you confirm it, Arlo searches area by area for companies that fit, each with its reasons and sources. Under Companies › Coverage and pace you see, for each area, how many companies were found, how many fit and how many have been written to; you can filter the list by region.
- The recipient’s language
- Arlo writes first emails and follow-ups in a language of the recipient’s country: in Canada, English or French. For 16 countries, from the US, Canada and the UK to Germany, France and Spain, every draft is checked for this; a draft that breaks it goes back to Arlo. If you tell Arlo which languages you write in, it sticks to those. In German, it uses the formal Sie unless you prefer du.
- Local time
- Arlo plans send days and times in the recipient’s local time. The time zone comes from the company’s country, and in the US, Canada and Australia from its state or province where known. Your own sending limits apply on top.
- Authority per country
- Any permission can be limited to individual countries in your target market. For example, Send follow-ups only for Canada: in the US, Arlo then asks first. Arlo reads the country from the company it has stored, not from anything a language model writes.

What holds in every country
- You approve the first email to anyone new, unless you let Arlo send first emails on its own.
- Every email carries your sender details and a way to opt out.
- Anyone who says no or unsubscribes is never contacted again, effective at once, for every sequence and every mailbox.
- The same rule applies in every country; you can set stricter ones for single countries.
Start with what you have.
A deck, a link, a few sentences. Arlo reads them, asks what’s missing and shows you the first companies. Nobody is contacted until you say so.
