When the price depends on the project.
Before any email goes out, a second model reads it for prices, discounts, trials and guarantees. If your material names no price, no first email or follow-up names one without your approval. A reply that offers a price waits for your approval unless an owner has allowed prices.
How Arlo handles prices
- What the check reads
- A second model reads every email before it goes out: amounts, discounts, trials, guarantees. Arlo may name your offer’s own price, free start or trial as your material states it. Anything beyond that, and anything a reply doesn’t declare, doesn’t go out on Arlo’s word: you approve a draft, and a person takes over a reply.
- Prices in replies
- If a reply offers a price and no owner has allowed Name prices, it waits for your approval of that one email.
- Discounts up to a limit
- A discount in a reply above the limit an owner set under Offer discounts waits for your approval the same way.
- Trials and guarantees
- A trial or a guarantee in a reply waits for your approval, unless an owner allowed exactly that kind of commitment under Make commitments.
- Your approval
- Under Conversations › Waiting on you, you see the email and the facts it rests on, with sources. If you change it, every check runs again.
- Owners only
- Only owners of your account allow or take back prices, discounts and commitments. An instruction or document saying “up to 10% off is fine” allows nothing by itself. Every change to Arlo’s authority is recorded with who made it.

When a prospect asks about price
- Arlo answers replies on its own only if you allow Answer replies, and only from what your documents say. Whatever they don’t answer goes to a person.
- If your documents say the price depends on the project, Arlo answers on that basis. A price they don’t name doesn’t go out on Arlo’s word.
Start with what you have.
A deck, a link, a few sentences. Arlo reads them, asks what’s missing and shows you the first companies. Nobody is contacted until you say so.
